Michael König edited together photos taken by the crews of NASA’s Expeditions 28 and 29 to create this amazing time-lapse video.

The photographs, from The Gateway to Astronaut Photography of Earth, were taken from the International Space Station with a special low-light 4K camera from August to October of this year. The music is by Jan Jelinek.

Terje Sorgjerd from Russia spent a week capturing one of the biggest aurora borealis shows in recent years in a way not really seen before. This was shot in and around Kirkenes and Pas National Park bordering Russia, at 70 degrees north and 30 degrees east. Temperatures around -25 Celsius. Visuals that will stay with you.
