Wobs has been a great influence on me in the last 6 months. Even though he may not totally be aware of it his current 365 project continues to amaze me on a daily basis. Weather it's his work in the LA area night clubs or his rad shots of nature and urban areas around southern California, he is someone a photographer can find inspiring on a regular basis. His photos display his apparent skills for being able to know his camera and with an excellent sense of how to frame what he's shooting his photos never seem stale with a wide veriety of subject choices. Low light shooting skills is not something easily acquired and being a fellow creature of the night, I always find his work interesting and fresh. Be sure to check out his work at the links to the right.

Hild
I have known Emily for a while and though we have never actually met we have shared a love for the beauty found around Wisconsin. With an obvious passion not for only finding great photos, but also for being open to new techniques including HDR and Photo Manipulation, she is pushing the boundries when it come to the types of images most people are used to seeing of the area. With the embrace of these new and interesting techniques can come an over use but Emily has found the perfect balance in almost everything she does. With her work being featured on multiple websites and in publications she's bound to sooner or later turn her hobby into a career.

A Waking Dream
by Phil Koch from Racine, WI

This is the first piece I came across of Phils' and instantly made me want more. Stunning work with an almost surealistic style to it captures Wisconsin in a way I've never seen. Someone I'm sure to keep my eye on for new stuff. If you have a moment, check him out...

Trey Ratcliff is one of the best inspirations out there for a lot of people. Personally, his images alone have cause me to push myself and what I know about photography, how to use my camera and the art of post processing. (Yes Art) There is a lot to be said about taking a photograph and not having or wanting to do any post processing to it but there is also a lot to say when it comes to what this guy does. Basically a pioneer of the use of HDR in photography, Trey brings an artistic level to images I have never seen matched. His website is well worth a look and easy to get lost in. He is always posting new stuff and is also a great resource for people interested in this style of photography.
